Air quality seems bad lately, at least here in Dallas, Texas. There’s a government website that tracks air quality by state, it is: http://www.airnow.gov/. On the site there’s a forecast tab and after monitoring it for a few days it seems inaccurate. The Current AQI tab is better.
The Organic Processing Industry Structure
This fascinating website link has charts showing which conventional companies own organic food brands. Three examples:
- Kraft owns Back to Nature and Boca Foods (Boca Burgers)
- Dean owns Horizon
- General Mills owns Cascadian Farms
I never expected to see so many organic brands owned by conventional companies!
